Here you'll find everything that you need to celebrate with us in Stockholm.

Where do you go when you don't have Christmas plans and are living in Spain? Follow the friend you met two months prior to Stockholm!
And what do you do on your last night in Stockholm? Go out clubbing with your new group of Swedish friends!
And who do you meet amongst that group of friends? An adorkable nerd who is DEFINITELY your type.
Cami and I met on my second night living in Spain and it was an automatic "yes" when she said that I should come to Sweden with her over the Christmas holidays. She promised the entire trip that she'd find me a Swedish boyfriend. By the final night on our trip, I was certain that she wasn't going to keep that promise before we flew back to Spain. But when we gathered at the bar that night for drinks before going dancing, a cute boy I hadn't met yet was seated amongst the group. Did he have a special someone, or was he available? Fortunately for me, he was and he was interested.
Fast forward 8 months later (past a trip together to Lisbon, an Easter visit to Stockholm, Fredrik visiting me in Spain, and daily phone calls) and I found myself landing in Stockholm again to begin my teaching career, with Fredrik waiting for me at the bus stop to take me to my new home <3

We were visiting Milan on a city vacation in February last year. Raven had booked a day trip to Lake Lugano in Switzerland on Valentine's day. The weather was beautiful and we were walking next to the shoreline in a cute park. We walked down onto a secluded dock to take some pictures of each other. Is this the perfect location? Should I drop down on my knee right now?
Just as I had that thought, some dude came by and started eating a sandwich right next to us on this small dock. I guess it will have to wait...
But it didn't take long before we walked by a water fountain, and Raven said "We don't have any pictures of us together, could you put the camera on there?" We took some normal pictures, I checked the exposure, but I wanted "Just a few more just to be safe". For the last one, I pulled out the ring from my coat pocket and got down on one knee.
