Stockholm is a sprawling archipelago with public transportation. The festivities will be happening a convenient bus ride from the Ulriksdal commuter train (pendeltåg) station or a nice walk from the Bergshamra subway (tunnelbana) station.
The most conveniently located hotel in regards to the city and our wedding is the AC Hotel Stockholm Ulriksdal.
If you would like feedback on an accommodation you've found, feel free to contact Raven.
The weekend before our wedding is Midsommar, one of the biggest holidays in Sweden. On June 20th Swedes will celebrate by creating flower crowns and dancing like frogs around the maypole. Consider arriving into town early to experience the best Swedish holiday (and give yourself some time to get over the jet lag before our ceremony!)
Ways to celebrate:
Skansen open-air museum
Bergianska trädgård - free botanical garden with great cafes
Mälarpaviljongen - great atmosphere on the water
Woodstockholm - finer dining
Tokyo Ramen Hötorget - popular ramen
Made in Sweden bar & kök - traditional Swedish cuisine
Rosendals Trädgård - homegrown cafe located in the lushest area of Stockholm - the old hunting grounds for the royal family.
